THE AREA

Livathos is the region with the most exquisite villages – each bearing a significant marine tradition - , well kept churches and bell towers, and seemingly endless olive groves and orchards.

The village of Spartia spreads out at a short distance from the sea, close to many famous beaches (Avithos, Lourdas) has kept its traditional surroundings and is the ideal location for holidays. The village offers uninterrupted views to Aenos National Park and the seemingly endless shoreline of southeastern Kefalonia.

There are two mini markets and six restaurants/bars in the village. The distance to Argostoli, the island's capital, is only 11 km while access to most of the significant sights is especially easy.
